Honegger - Glière - Wassilenko - Desenclos - Sutermeister
Following her critically acclaimed debut album in
October 2020, trumpeter Selina Ott, winner of the 2018
ARD music competition, presents her second album
together with her duo partner, pianist En-Chia Lin. The
album features works composed around 1950 that are
rarely found in concert programmes and on recordings:
Arthur Honegger’s Intrada, the chamber version of Alfred
Desenclos’ Incantation, Thrène et Danse – the orchestral
version of which appeared on her debut album with
the ORF RSO – Swiss composer Heinrich Sutermeister’s
Gavotte de Concert, Sergei Vasilenko’s Concert Poème,
and Reinhold Glière’s Concerto (in an arrangement for
trumpet and piano of the original version for coloratura
soprano and orchestra).
