Kwangchul Youn
The Korean bass Kwangchul Youn was an ensemble member of the Berlin State Opera from 1993 to 2004. He has performed in many of the renowned opera houses of the world including the Vienna State Opera, Berlin State Opera, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Barcelona, La Scala, Milan, the Metropolitan Opera, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Regio, Turin, Frankfurt Opera, Bavarian State Opera, the Royal Opera House, London, Lyric Opera of Chicago and Semperoper Dresden. He has also appeared at major festivals including the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele in Salzburg and the Dresden, Ravinia, Klangbogen Wien and Bayreuth festivals.
