Peter Marsh
American tenor Peter Marsh is a long-standing ensemble member of Oper Frankfurt.
Since 1998 he has performed such roles as Aegisth (Elektra), Monsieur Taupe (Capriccio), Oedipus (Oedipus Rex), Leukippos (Daphne), Hauptmann (Wozzeck) and Pedrillo (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) and Matteo (Arabella), among others. In Frankfurt, he has also performed Mime (Siegfried) the title role in Zemlinsky’s Der Zwerg, Kimmo (Kullervo) and Mozart (Rimsky-Korsakov’s Mozart and Salieri).
Further guest commitments have taken him to Nuremberg State Theatre and Dortmund Opera (Peter Grimes), the Irish National Opera in Dublin (Aegisth), to Seattle, Barcelona, Dusseldorf, Brussels and Tokyo, as well as to the State Operas in Munich, Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg, and to the festivals in Bregenz, Edinburgh and Erl.
